IDR is seeking a Accounting Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Conyers.
This role involves supporting core accounting functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The company specializes in transportation management solutions, providing innovative services to clients nationwide.
Position Overview for the Accounting Specialist:
- Support day-to-day Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) processing
- Handle collections activity and follow-ups, tracking outcomes and escalations
- Complete cash application tasks accurately and on time
- Perform purchase order (PO) entry and related transactions in SAP Business One
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and report support
Requirements for the Accounting Specialist:
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Collections
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing and exceptions
- Proficiency in SAP Business One, including modules and functions
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation trackers
- Excellent verbal and written communication, being highly organized and detail-oriented
