IDR is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role supports a government agency's health analytics platform by expanding reporting and analytics capabilities. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing projects using agile methodologies, and serving as the Scrum Master for the project team.
Position Overview for the Business Data Analyst:
- Support and enhance the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by working as a Business Analyst on a critical project
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team, vendor, and program stakeholders
- Facilitate agile processes including leading meetings, sprint planning, and reporting project status
- Perform business analysis, quality assurance, and project management tasks in a fast-paced environment
Requirements for the Business Data Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience in project management, managing enterprise-scale data management projects
- 8+ years of experience managing agile projects within government or similar environments
- 8+ years of business analysis experience
- 5+ years of knowledge and experience with project management systems like Jira
- 5+ years of quality assurance and data analysis experience
