IDR is seeking a Cloud Engineer IV to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in cloud architecture and management, working within a dynamic environment focused on cloud solutions and digital transformation.
Position Overview for the Cloud Engineer IV:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud solutions primarily within GCP, with additional experience in AWS and Azure preferred.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, migration projects, and deployment automation to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud environments, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Drive architectural and design decisions, ensuring solutions align with best practices and the six pillars of a well-architected framework.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on cloud technologies, security, and operational efficiency.
Requirements for the Cloud Engineer IV:
- 4+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in GCP Cloud.
- AWS and Azure experience is nice-to-have.
- 3+ years of Cloud Administration and management of GCP.
- 3+ years of working with Application development, Maintenance, build, and release management teams.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling (e.g., Terraform) and automated pipelines.
