IDR is seeking a Data QA Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Addison, Texas. In this role, you’ll collect, analyze, validate, and test tax-related data to ensure accuracy and integrity before it’s used by the business and its clients. You will perform UAT and help confirm that tax calculations and application logic work correctly across systems and global jurisdictions.
Position Overview for the Data QA Analyst- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate tax calculations and application logic within systems
- Test new releases, enhancements, and configurations to ensure tax rules are implemented accurately
- Identify, document, and track defects tied to tax calculations or data discrepancies, partnering with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Analyze and validate tax-related data across multiple countries to support compliance and correctness
Requirements for the Data QA Analyst:- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, finance, accounting, UAT/QA testing, or a related discipline is preferred
- Basic understanding of tax concepts or strong interest in learning global tax rules and applications
- Familiarity with QA or UAT testing practices is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience applying standard statistical and/or financial analysis techniques to assess data quality and reliability
