Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: McLean, Virginia (Headquarters)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Required to work onsite at McLean, VA headquarters a minimum of one day per week.
Salary Range: $125-$175k DOE
Position Summary
Revolutional is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and business stakeholders. This role will drive people strategies that support business growth, organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and culture. The Director HRBP will partner closely with executive leadership and functional leaders to align human capital initiatives with company objectives while fostering a high-performance, inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with executive and department leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that improve business performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and change management initiatives.
Talent Management & Leadership Development
- Lead performance management processes and promote a culture of accountability and continuous feedback.
- Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and create development plans.
- Coach managers and executives on employee relations, leadership practices, and talent decisions.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
- Facilitate employee listening programs and translate feedback into actionable strategies.
- Support conflict resolution and foster positive employee relations.
Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management
- Lead organizational change efforts associated with growth, restructuring, and transformation initiatives.
- Partner with leadership teams to assess organizational capabilities and identify development opportunities.
- Develop communication and change management plans that support successful implementation of business initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support policy development and consistent application of HR programs and practices.
- Mitigate organizational risk through sound employee relations and compliance practices.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders.
- HR experience in GovCon is mandatory, ideally supporting professional services, consulting, technology, or high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrated experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving organizational change.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Excellent consulting, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Preferred
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide talent and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
