IDR is seeking a Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for leading data reporting and analytics efforts within a healthcare organization, focusing on clinical quality, utilization, and financial performance. The company is dedicated to improving community health through innovative data solutions and strategic insights.

Position Overview for the Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:

• Leads the development, automation, and enhancement of data reporting systems supporting clinical, quality, access, utilization, and financial performance.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to create dashboards, visualizations, and tools that foster a data-driven culture.
• Supports migration from SQL Server to a cloud-based Snowflake environment, ensuring seamless transition and optimized data architecture.
• Manages data strategies that align with the organization’s mission to improve community health and operational efficiency.
• Acts as the organization’s primary data expert, providing actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements for the Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:

• 5+ years in healthcare data analytics and/or business intelligence
• 3+ years in healthcare quality metrics and Epic reporting systems (Clarity, Caboodle)
• Advanced hands-on experience with T-SQL and Python
• Certifications in Epic Cogito, Clarity, and/or Caboodle (must meet Epic pre-assessment criteria if expired)
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and quality measure sets such as HEDIS, UDS, CMS
