IDR is seeking a Embedded Systems Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role involves leading the design and development of embedded systems connecting hardware, data, and firmware, with an emphasis on systems that feed data locally and to the cloud.
Position Overview for the Embedded Systems Architect:
- Develop and implement end-to-end embedded system architecture for hardware, data, and firmware integration.
- Design systems that support local data processing and cloud connectivity, with a focus on security and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions for consumer devices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance from concept through production lifecycle, ensuring system robustness.
Requirements for the Embedded Systems Architect:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in embedded systems or embedded software development.
- 2+ years of experience leading embedded software architecture or end-to-end embedded systems initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming.
- Strong experience developing firmware within RTOS environments and real-time systems.
