RIVA Solutions seeks a motivated and driven Growth Manager to support strategic business development and capture initiatives within our federal portfolio, with a focus on Health and Human Services (HHS). This early-career role offers direct exposure to the full BD lifecycle and close collaboration with the CEO, VP of Growth, and Director of Growth. Key Responsibilities Include:

Capture & BD Support

  • Provide daily support to the Director of Growth for RIVA’s HHS portfolio across all phases of capture planning and execution.
  • Assist in identifying, qualifying, and tracking federal opportunities using tools such as GovWin, GovTribe, HigherGov, and others.
  • Maintain and update pipeline metrics and capture documentation with high accuracy.
  • Participate in research and stakeholder interviews to uncover customer pain points, hot buttons, and solution gaps.

Market Intelligence & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with government customers, partners, and potential teammates to promote RIVA’s brand, capabilities, and value proposition.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador by attending networking events and engaging in business development outreach via LinkedIn and other platforms in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team.

Teaming & Proposal Preparation

  • Coordinate teaming agreements, NDAs, and capture kickoff logistics in collaboration with senior leadership and partners.
  • Identify incumbent staff and key personnel aligned to priority pursuits.
  • Support proposal readiness efforts by collaborating with technical and proposal teams to draft or refine content for RFIs, task order responses, and final RFP submissions.

Capture Planning & Reporting

  • Help develop and maintain comprehensive capture plans for top-priority opportunities.
  • Track capture milestones and ensure deliverables are prepared for gate reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Associate’s degree with additional experience accepted).
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting federal contract programs, business development, or capture—experience in federal Health IT preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information professionally.
  • High level of motivation, accountability, and desire to work with a winning team.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in the FedCiv or FedHealth IT space (contractor or government).
  • Familiarity with Shipley-like capture and proposal processes.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as NextStage, Slack, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms (e.g., GovWin, GovTribe, HigherGov, BGov).
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical, business, and financial concepts.

Salary: Up to $120,000/year DOE
