This role supports a dedicated team in managing patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and insurance authorizations to ensure accurate billing and data integrity. The company is a health services organization committed to providing comprehensive care and administrative support within the healthcare industry.
Position Overview for the Healthcare Coordinator :
- Manage authorization updates and eligibility data across multiple service lines
- Ensure accuracy of admission, discharge, and transfer information
- Collaborate with operations teams across various locations to confirm data accuracy
- Support clean claims processing by maintaining precise information
- Update systems and coordinate authorization changes as needed
Requirements for the Healthcare Coordinator :
- Experience in healthcare administration or medical authorization
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfortable working across multiple teams
- Experience with insurance verification, eligibility checks, or claims support
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
