IDR is seeking a IT Systems Specialist III to join an on-site opportunity in Franklin, TN. This role focuses on supporting cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and system automation within a dynamic infrastructure engineering team. Position Overview for the IT Systems Specialist III:
- Responsible for designing, supporting, and automating cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Support production environments, ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity strategies are implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to review infrastructure changes and create detailed deployment documentation.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Ansible, or similar technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of information systems technology and share best practices across the organization.
Requirements for the IT Systems Specialist III:
- At least 7 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree in IT systems.
- Strong knowledge and administration of message collaboration systems including Exchange and O365.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Linux OS.
- Proven scripting expertise leveraging PowerShell or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience administering VMWare ESX (6.0/6.5/6.7/7.0).
