IDR is seeking a Manual Tester to join one of our top clients for a REMOTE opportunity.
Position Overview for the Manual Tester:
- Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Create and manage test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect reproduction and triage.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and optimize the testing process.
- Hands-on experience working directly on Mainframe systems and writing/executing Database Queries.
Requirements for the Manual Tester:
- Manual testing experience with expertise in ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Ability to create test scenarios from requirements and optimize test cases for efficient execution.
- Experience performing System Integration Testing and managing defect and test case lifecycle.
- Support UAT activities, including defect reproduction in lower environments.
- Hands-on experience working directly on Mainframe systems and writing/executing Database Queries.
