Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Planner II:
- Create and generate purchase orders (POs), including receiving orders from the internal team for submission
- Update existing POs and liaise with suppliers for past-due orders
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for lead times and materials specification
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand inventory schedules and demand for effective inventory purchasing activities
- Set up, monitor, and manage suppliers in the system, ensuring data accuracy
Required Skills for the Planner II:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working closely with Supply Chain and ERP systems (SAP preferred) for inventory planning and purchase order creation
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external groups
- Proven experience in planning and monitoring inventories, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Biologic industries
- Comfortable transitioning between systems (EX. from LN to SAP)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with departments like planning, manufacturing, or logistics
