Project Manager II The Select Group is looking for a Project Manager for one of our top telecommunication clients. This is going to be a short-term contract to start, located in Denver, CO. As a Project Manager you will be supporting their Network Engineering & Operations projects by gathering data and preparing reports, tracking costs and performance, interacting with internal customers, and establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Project Manager II Requirements: - 2+ years' enterprise technology project-based team experience as Project Manager.
- 3+ years’ experience in telecommunications and/or the cable industry.
- Strong user of MS Office and LucidChart.
- Experience with Jira required.
- Demonstrated process documentation skills such as flow charts, swim lane diagrams, sequence diagrams and data flow diagrams.
- Exceptional people skills. Comfortable driving and working with a diverse group of people and serving as an arbitrator when conflicts arise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues related to process and technology.
- Understands that things move and change quickly and adapts to a fluid work environment.
- Looks ahead and is ready for upcoming scheduled events, understands tasks needed to perform, and manages performance.
- Detail oriented ability to analyze problems, probe facts and question assumptions using fact-based decision-making. Strong logical and analytic skill
Project Manager II Responsibilities: Supporting OSP fiber builds and tertiary route builds.
- Initiate ticket intake and manage projects within their Jira ticketing system.
- Interact with various internal teams to ensure projects stay on track.
- Assists to establish project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.
- Meets with internal customers of an assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gather project-related feedback.
- Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Assists with gathering data and preparing a variety of reports covering project estimates, project status and other management reports.
