The sales territory for this position is - Grand Junction
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
· Prepares regular planning and goals, as assigned by Supervisor. Including but not limited to reports of business transactions and maintaining a customer management profile.
· Maintains existing accounts and provides customer service in accordance with the Company's customer service philosophy and standards.
· Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers at place of business or by phone.
· Sustains the minimum number of sales calls as determined by Management.
· Displays product, using various Point of Sale items and emphasizes salable features.
· Quotes prices correctly with reference to company pricing guidelines and prepares sales orders.
· Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules.
· Collaborates with Administrative and Operations teammates to assure the best service is provided to customers.
· Coordinates customer training and product promotions.
· Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
· Investigates and resolves customer issues around deliveries, billing and all other aspects of customer service.
· Attends regularly schedules sales meetings, seminars, trade shows and special events to represent the Company and its brands.
