IDR is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity with 30% travel. This role involves supporting a commercial project focused on data modeling and enterprise data lake development within a cloud environment. The company operates within the insurance and analytics industry, emphasizing innovative data solutions.
Position Overview for the Senior Data Modeler:
- Lead data modeling activities supporting the implementation of a new analytical data platform and enterprise data lake
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERWIN
- Partner with business and technical teams to define scalable data structures and modeling standards
- Support data lake design and development activities within a Microsoft Fabric / Azure environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements related to commercial property and policy data domains
Requirements for the Senior Data Modeler:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Data Analytics
- Advanced experience with ERWIN data modeling tools
- P&C Insurance domain experience, specifically within Policy and Commercial Property business areas
- Experience supporting insurance data domains including policy, underwriting, claims, or billing
- Experience supporting analytical data platforms and enterprise data lake initiatives
