IDR is seeking a Senior System Tester to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Sacramento, CA. This role supports a critical state government project focused on large-scale system quality assurance. The organization operates within the public sector, emphasizing robust testing strategies and automation to ensure system integrity.
Position Overview for the Senior System Tester:
- Define and lead the overall QA strategy and test approach for the program
- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements
- Drive a strong automation-first approach to testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Oversee execution of functional and system testing
Requirements for the Senior System Tester:
- 5+ years experience in Functional Testing (Advanced)
- Strong experience in Test Automation (Advanced)
- Proven ability to lead QA efforts on complex, large-scale programs
- Experience testing across UI, API, and data layers
- Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management processes
