IDR is seeking a Senior System Tester to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Sacramento, CA. This role supports a critical state government project focused on large-scale system quality assurance. The organization operates within the public sector, emphasizing robust testing strategies and automation to ensure system integrity.

Position Overview for the Senior System Tester:

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy and test approach for the program
• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements
• Drive a strong automation-first approach to testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Oversee execution of functional and system testing

Requirements for the Senior System Tester:

• 5+ years experience in Functional Testing (Advanced)
• Strong experience in Test Automation (Advanced)
• Proven ability to lead QA efforts on complex, large-scale programs
• Experience testing across UI, API, and data layers
• Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management processes
