IDR is seeking a Technical Producer II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Los Angeles, California. This role supports highly technical teams (developer tooling, engine, and AI/ML-adjacent initiatives) by driving execution, alignment, and visibility across complex workstreams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, QA, research, and stakeholders to keep roadmaps on track, manage dependencies, and improve operational workflows.
Position Overview for the Technical Producer II:
- Own and optimize production operations for technical teams, including sprint rituals and day-to-day execution support
- Manage and maintain JIRA workflows (backlog health, prioritization, sprint planning, and reporting)
- Coordinate roadmaps, milestones, and cross-team dependencies to ensure delivery stays aligned and predictable
- Track risks, blockers, and support requests while proactively driving issue resolution and escalation
- Facilitate clear communication via status updates, meetings, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams
Requirements for the Technical Producer II:
- 5+ years of experience producing or coordinating technical engineering teams (tooling, engine, platform, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and expert-level comfort in JIRA
- Demonstrated ability to manage roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and capacity planning in fast-paced environments
- Clear, confident communicator with strong organization and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups
- Technical fluency with modern game/real-time development concepts (e.g., Unreal Engine and developer tooling); AI/ML exposure is a plus
