IDR is seeking a Technical Product Owner (Data / Analytics) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for a professional experienced in managing complex data environments in the energy or utility industry. The position involves working with data scientists and engineers to operationalize forecasting models and support product development initiatives within a highly visible, collaborative environment.
Position Overview for the Technical Product Owner (Data / Analytics):
- Organize, document, and develop a granular forecasting process as a structured product
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Collaborate with data scientists and technical teams to shape development priorities
- Lead stakeholder conversations to align expectations across teams
- Drive documentation efforts and support cross-functional coordination between data teams
Requirements for the Technical Product Owner (Data / Analytics):
- 5–7 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Strong documentation and product structuring capabilities
- Proven ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements
- Experience working closely with technical teams, especially data scientists and engineers
- Familiarity with JIRA in an enterprise environment
