IDR is seeking a Workstation Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare technology support, providing essential troubleshooting and maintenance for workstations and peripherals within a hospital setting. Position Overview for the Workstation Technician:
- Perform break/fix operations, PC and printer refreshes, and troubleshooting within a hospital environment
- Support a variety of devices including hand scanners, e-sig pads, tap–n-gos, zebra printers, HP printers, iPhones, and iPads
- Utilize ServiceNow to document and manage incidents and service requests
- Work on-site in a dynamic healthcare facility, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
- Collaborate with medical staff and IT teams to maintain optimal workstation performance
Requirements for the Workstation Technician:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a hospital environment
- Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident management
- Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system
- Experience troubleshooting handheld scanners, printers, and mobile devices
- Excellent communication skills
